My Story with Photography
I can't remember a time when I was behind a camera. My parents liberally decked me out with cameras allowing me to always stay in touch with my creative side. As I got older though, my dad began to teach me the inner workings of a camera and I began to learn what it take to get a pretty darn good photo! I learned how photography is a unique artisitic medium because it relies just as heavily on the techincal side as it does the artisitic side. If one is to truly dive deep into the world of portrait photoraphy, it is more than essential that they learn proper exposure, colour balance and how to deliberately control those things as well as depth of field. As I learned these things when I was much younger, I naturally moved into learning how the dark room worked and was instrumental in bringing out the best in each photo. Fast forward to the present age, when everything is digital, I have moved my interests right along and now work in a digital dark room tweaking and perfecting my photos, the same way it was done years and years ago. Just don't have those nasty chemicals anymore!
